Spring is looking for a Digital Content Manager who will manage Spring’s presence across all social media platforms and develop email communications that engage and excite our customers. This role will play an integral part in the content development process for email and social media by ideating creative concepts, developing compelling copy and image assets, and flawlessly executing social posts and the delivery of email communications.

Spring’s marketing team is small and everyone is a ‘wearer of many hats’. At the same time, each member has the chance to become a deep subject matter expert in his or her chosen area. You’ll be our “go-to” for all things social and we’ll expect you to drive both the day to day tactical pieces as well as the long term strategy.  Plus this  is the perfect role for someone with both creative and analytical chops. You’ll get to exercise both sides of your brain here.

What you will do:

  • Lead day-to-day management of Spring’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest)
  • Concept posts and write post copy, select images, and schedule posts
  • Monitor Spring’s social media accounts
  • Respond to or escalate time-sensitive needs in a professional manner
  • Monitor Spring’s social media analytics and develop insights that inform improvements to our social media strategy
  • Investigate and test new strategies to improve our current approach
  • Stay up to date on current social media trends
  • Concept and create Spring’s email communications for multiple verticals (e.g. Men’s and Lifestyle emails)
  • Develop creative concepts for emails, brief copy and design teams on the development of email assets, and code emails in HTML
  • Monitor performance of email communications in order to continuously make improvements to email content, audience segmentation, send times, etc.

What you need to have:

  • 4-5 years of experience in editorial, social media, email/CRM, digital, marketing or some combination of these
  • Strong ability to analyze data (e.g. from Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Facebook analytics): you know what is important and you’ve used data in the past to make decisions
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (specifically Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest) and high level of comfort with executing posts across all of these platforms
  • Basic familiarity with coding in HTML is preferred
  • Experience with Photoshop and basic CMS tools is preferred
  • Experience with digital editorial (writing and image research) is preferred
  • Fashion industry knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail
