Vimond offers a cloud based platform for video content management and delivery, used by  broadcasters, distributors and content owners around the world to efficiently manage their online OTT and live video services. In addition we have Vimond IO, a revolutionary cloud based, frame-accurate and high quality video storytelling application running in your own browser. 

We are part of the Norwegian Media Cluster and our headquarters are located in beautiful Bergen, Norway, with branch offices in New York and Sydney.

As our Agile Coach, you will be a key resource and influencer for our technical leads, engineering teams, and product managers. Your ultimate focus will be to empower the teams to deliver value to our customers faster and with fewer hurdles in their way. Requirements, plans, and results are evaluated continuously, and these natural mechanisms let the VIA platform quickly respond to change. By creating required visibility and predictability, you will be the glue that binds product development to stakeholders both internally and externally. 

We are looking for a person with strong technical knowledge and understanding of development processes, passion for what we do, and the right mindset to improve our products, services and deliveries, while at the same time establishing new ones - all of which will help us reach new heights!

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Facilitate work planning, stand-up meetings, retrospectives and other agile practices,
  • Be able to understand the technical complexity and suggest improvements, 
  • Remove obstacles for the teams,
  • Create visibility into progress through Kanban boards (or other mechanisms chosen by you and the team), and report on progress,
  • Be responsible for delivering product features on time and with quality, together with the technical leads and engineers,
  • Drive the release management process and understand business consequences to new changes,
  • Write release documentation directed at non-technical customer staff,
  • Stakeholder management for the team,
  • Synchronise requests, upgrades and delivery plans with other departments,
  • Plan and deliver maintenance together with Product Managers and technical leads,
  • Champion company focus on priorities, test/QA, and documentation
  • Contribute to Statements of Work for customers.

Together with the Product Managers, review and respond to customer enquiries based on  alignment with Vimond’s vision and strategies, and if it is in line with existing roadmaps.
