Remote Role
The Vice President of Professional Services manages Altera's Professional Services Organization and owns revenue and P&L responsibility for this rapidly growing business.
Essential Functions
- The VP of Professional Services will be responsible for business development, client engagement management, thought leadership and team-building and leadership of the Clinical Operations consultants.
- The VP of PS will develop and execute clinical business initiatives that will enable clients to maximize their investment in Altera's products. The position will drive revenue growth through services that drive change and affect client outcomes.
- The VP of PS will develop a sales strategy that identifies target accounts, account planning and service product packaging. S/he will develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients at the C suite level and will develop an in-depth understanding of the client business needs to position Altera's as a key decision-making partner. S/he will develop and offer services that reflect an understanding of a client’s unique business needs and offer solutions that are measurable. Engagements will address a wide range of strategy sessions, strategic planning and facilitation of strategic decision making with clients.
- The VP of PS will provide thought leadership to deepen and expand the company product offerings and client solutions. S/he will direct and manage the overall and day to day business execution of client projects to ensure quality work products, solutions and deliverables.
- The VP of PS will work closely with members of senior management to support strategic and tactical plans to meet revenue goals. The VP of PS will effectively build and manage a team of consultants who are experts in their fields. S/he will establish goals objectives, measurable goals and performance standards to ensure effective client outcomes. S/he will champion the development of best practices and programs encouraging the best of the best mindset.

• Revenue goals are achieved
• Headcount targets are achieved
• Altera is a recognized leader in Healthcare management consulting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- 15+ years relevant work experience, preferred
- Proven track record of attracting the best available talent and building a profitable healthcare consulting business while juggling client demands
- P & L experience
- 10+ years relevant leadership experience including responsibility for a sub-function within a business unit, preferred
- Up to 60% travel may be required
Compliance
