OVERVIEW

The Data Integration (DI) Analyst is responsible for a variety of duties related to normalizing data including data verification to specification, validation to source system, mapping to databases, writing test scripts, and performing data quality control. This responsibility includes communicating technical needs to the Data Technologies team responsible for developing the tools and techniques to move data throughout Acclara’s ecosystem. This position provides advanced root cause analysis of revenue cycle datasets in files, databases, and systems. Additionally, this position supports Production support for ETL error monitoring and resolution.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Cross department meeting participation to review and implement new accounts and systems; and to discuss and solve unique and repetitive data integration discrepancies.
  • Communicating technical needs to the Data Technology teams responsible for developing DI solutions, tools, and techniques.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups to provide progress updates on data implementations and/or development QA.
  • Providing advanced root cause analysis and resolution guidance for identified data irregularities utilizing raw file review, ETL review, SQL, and other database technologies and queries
  • Configuring and mapping data, utilizing both database and file configuration processes
  • Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution.
  • Lead test prep and execution activities including test plans, test scenarios, and mapping of scenarios to business requirements.
  • Validating and processing source data files and assisting with the input and output of data to and from various systems and applications
  • Partnering with technology, data, and other internal partners to leverage existing infrastructure, systems, and processes to consistently meet deadlines
  • Work closely with leadership and/or Senior Analyst(s) to execute and deliver on the Data Integration roadmap.
  • Audit and lead routine review, update, and creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Computer Science or other related bachelor’s degree and 3 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, may be considered
  • Demonstrated skill working with Microsoft Excel (Macros, VB editor, power query)
  • Experience using FTM applications and tools to design and configure file processing and resolve file processing configuration discrepancies. (i.e., FileZilla, MoveIt, Automate)
  • Proven experience working with SQL and relational databases to aggregate, gather, and manipulate data
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) experience with various file formats (MS Access, XML, other healthcare standards.
  • Experience with ETL methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with data quality processes, data quality checks, validations, data quality metrics definition and measurement.
  • Knowledge of Data Profiling (source systems, sources of record, end-to-end solution support, data movements).
  • Experience with and strong understanding of health care data, specific knowledge of revenue cycle transaction sets preferred
  • Experience writing, interpreting, and utilizing various file format specifications and data mapping documents
  • Develop and execute a variety of quality tests (unit, integration tests, end to end, and regression tests).
  • Proven close attention to detail with skills to drive standardization and continual improvement
  • Proven ability to learn and utilize multiple technological resources demonstrating technical aptitude
  • History of applying discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions, and handling confidential and sensitive information

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of software development tools (DevOps, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience using Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with Python
