APAC Client Growth & Sales Manager - Malaysia

Locaria is a pioneering digital language services agency that sits within The Stagwell Group and MDC Partners.

We combine engagement metrics with content creation processes by harnessing data from all stages of the customer journey including awareness, consideration and engagement. We do this in any language combination, across more than 90 markets.

Our global clients include the world’s top brands across luxury, retail, travel, hospitality, finance, market research and tech.

We are currently recruiting for this strategic role covering sales, client servicing, project management and partnerships growth. The sucessfull candidate will be involved across Locaria’s full range of research, linguistics, multilingual marketing, creative production and adaptation services.

The role has a Asia Pacific regional focus, working with brands and agencies based in key markets of Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Philippines, Australia and India.

There will be a large involvement in agency growth, which may compromise identifying and cross-selling existing clients, working with partner agencies on joint-proposals, supporting the delivery of projects, and working with the new business team to construct email campaigns and events, and join global pitches where relevant.


  • Be the face of Locaria for the APAC region, working with our current clients to upsell work, cross-sell new services, and support new business with client acquisition.
  • Present Locaria’s services in both regional client meetings and global pitches.
  • Create client opportunities maps within our current client roster, while identifying opportunities and overlap within agencies of the Stagwell network.
  • Build our network with intermediaries, and support our partnership program with Google.
  • Research and analyze regional/local client prospects, which may be brands, partners or agencies with international scale.
  • Support with preparation and attendance of local events (particularly roundtables) or select opportunities for industry networking.
  • Create engaging and relevant content and case studies, and build into email campaigns which will be targeted to local marketers and content managers.
  • Actively develop conversational knowledge across a range of products and services.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce content for B2B marketing and awareness purposes.
  • Project manage internal specialists to deliver fast and considered responses, commercial proposals and solutions to clients within America’s timezone.

Desired skills and experience

  • Ideal candidates should have between 4 - 8 years experience.
  • Previous experience roles as growth orientated account manager, business development, sales, CRM, or client servicing type
  • Background or understanding in one or more of the following industries: marketing, digital media, creative, content or linguistics.

This role would report into the Senior Growth Director and Secondary to the CEO. However there would be regular catch ups with Key team members like Channel Heads, Regional Heads & Marketing team.
