Artist Management (Sr) Manager

Responsible for Artists development and growth in order to achieve company KPI


What you will do:

  • The role need to handle both management and operation works. He/She need to act as a team leader to monitor the team’s work and progress, make sure teammates are working under company guideline as well as meeting company KPI. The role will also need to develop existing SMEC artist to the next level and try to create super stars from in house artist. This involve daily artist relationship, artist growth planning, promotion opportunities, income generate jobs etc. He/She will have to integrate resource within or outside the company, execution, time to time adjustment and afterward report and review. He/She will be responsible for the whole Artist development path including marketing and promotion, he/she needs to monitor each step as well as the related statistic to make sure the quality and result.
  • Gather related statistic of songs and artists to keep track on working process and goal achievement, regular report to manager and discuss with the team on marketing direction
  • Daily jobs execution, negotiation, and idea initiative; online and offline artist brand enhancement and goal setting.
  • Identify and Development potential business partners to help company & artist growth
  • Day to day update on market trend and local policy to make sure all the work from the candidate is current and valuable. Build up and maintain relationships with media, TV stations, Production houses or all related business partners. Keep updating on market technology knowledge and news, all the artist related policy and new channels as well as their features.


Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of progressive artist management experience at any artist management company or record labels
  • Experience to work with artist from newly debut level to Super Stars
  • Knowledge of the music streaming landscape, DSP charting and promotion method; experienced on creating hit songs will be highly preferred.
  • Rich relationship with TV stations, Show production houses, fashion brand and all stakeholders in local entertainment industry
  • Thorough understanding of the music and entertainment marketplace, knowledge on music trends
  • Solid understanding / interest in lifestyle verticals and local entertainment culture.
  • Social Media Obsessed, Demonstrated knowledge experience with social platforms (Douyin, Weibo, wechat, bilibili, YouTube, Instagram etc.) and the ecosystem.
  • Ability on data gathering and analyzing, generating insights and provide recommendations
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, good communicator and stress management.
