About the Role: As an Asset Sales Director you will be responsible for sales, occupancy and top-line revenue in 5-10 WeWork buildings by driving new sales and renewals. This is a managerial position where you will be leading a fast-moving team responsible for sales across all segments. This role has three main areas of responsibility:

Direct Sales, including: 

  • Owning the full sales cycle for new and renewing members in 50p+ offices. This involves pitching, touring, negotiating, and executing contracts

  • Generating new sales pipeline for 50p+ offices (including working with the Broker Development team) 

Content Expertise, including: 

  • Market: knowing the “ins and out” of local market, inclusive of tenants-in-market, pricing and nearby competitors

  • Portfolio: intimate knowledge of the assigned portfolio, including being able to speak to financial performance and areas of opportunity / improvement

  • Product: knowing the “ins and outs” of WeWork’s physical spaces, value prop & platform

  • Community: building and maintaining relationships with brokers, major members / potential new members, and key internal teams (e.g., Community teams, Facilities teams)

  • Deal structure: ability to creatively structure deals to optimize sales outcomes and understanding how different deal structures relate to WeWork’s overall business objectives and building underwritings 

Overseeing Leasing Manager Sales team, including: 

  • Supporting and mentoring the Leasing Manager sales team on direct sales of <50p offices

  • Holding Leasing Manager sales team accountable to direct sales of <50p offices

  • Ensuring the Leasing Manager sales team has expert knowledge of their assigned buildings 

  • Ensuring the Leasing Manager sales team has material knowledge in other critical areas (e.g., WeWork value prop and business objectives, cross functional relationships) 


Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 4 to 7 years of full cycle quota carrying direct sales experience or equivalent experience 

  • Real Estate experience strongly preferred 

  • Local broker relationships strongly preferred 

  • Experience managing individual contributors preferred 

  • Ability to use WeWork data systems and produce reports market performance preferred 

  • Proficiency in Salesforce 

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with strong interpersonal skills and presence
