Assistant Finance Manager

Leading a pool of employees in local Finance team

Monthly Management Reporting

  • Participate in monthly closing
  • Prepare costing and adjustments
  • Generate and prepare accounts receivables and credit
  • Accounts Payables cleaning
  • Claims and reimbursements
  • Fixed Assets Management
  • Quarterly reporting to investors

Weekly Reporting

  • Cashflow reporting
  • Bank and cash reconciliation
  • AR and credit review

Tax and Audit

  • Lead the annual audit process
  • Review quarterly GST submission
  • Local Tax matters

Projects

  • Participate in continuous process improvements and formalization
  • Improve internal controls and implement policies
  • ERP system roll out

Ad-hoc assignments:

  • Any other ad-hoc projects requested by management

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of audit experience with and 2 years of commercial accounting
  • Has had experience leading or co-leading team
  • Familiar with local tax requirements and local tax reporting
  • Experience working with ERP system will be an advantage
  • Team play and able to work independently in startup

General

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Subang Jaya
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
