About the role

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will help craft compelling content and social marketing campaigns, identify new ways to drive customer testimonials and referrals, and partner with our sales, claims, and customer experience teams to create fiercely loyal customers through consistent and compelling brand messaging.  You will work closely with other members of the Marketing team, PR, Business Development and Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate on a fast growing, disruptive company.

You will

Execute Social/Content Marketing Strategies: 

  • Oversee brand’s social tone and VisID
  • Develop content and social calendar
  • Draft daily social posts and weekly blog posts
  • Build content partnerships and maintain existing program
  • Lead channel-specific initiatives 
  • Work with community managers to ensure responses are accurate, timely and on brand

Spearhead Testimonial and Referral Programs:

  • Establish overall vison, strategy, and plans to build a community of fanatic brand advocates
  • Find new ways to integrate testimonials into both paid ad efforts and retention marketing
  • Proactively establish strategic partnerships and creative programs to solicit UGC testimonials and ratings & reviews
  • Manage all public reviews identifying sources of strengths & opportunities and ways to improve overall ratings
  • Maintain current referral program (i.e. ensure rewards are sent, track program successes) and identify new ways to amplify and scale

Partner with Sales, Customer Experience, and Claims:

  • Oversee brand voice for customer support responses to public social questions/complaints (especially on paid ads)
  • Maintain messaging so support team can have brand-approved answers to common questions, and create new FAQ docs when needed (i.e. for product launches, new claims etc)
  • Draft copy for any changes/updates in customer communication emails
  • Meet frequently with members of Support and Sales teams to identify road bumps/blockers and work with Brand Marketing team to execute solutions

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years marketing communications experience.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in an array of styles from editorial to customer communication
  • Core strengths in leadership, strategic thinking, drive for innovation, agility and emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a highly collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role of marketing communications within the overall corporate strategy
  • Ability to articulate both strategic and creative concepts and present these in a compelling and persuasive manner
  • Desire to get your hands dirty and to do the work yourself
  • High attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
