@Associate Catalog Merchant, AllModern

AllModern is looking for a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial Associate Catalog Merchant to contribute to the building and execution of our print catalog strategy. We curate and design a catalog with a compelling assortment of products to drive growth and engagement with the AllModern brand. We collaborate closely with several internal teams, including category management, design creative, copy, our photography studio, marketing and more. 

In this role, you will work with external partners and internal cross-functional teams to develop our print catalogs. You will be a key contributor to the seasonal assortment choices and product selection using market trends, seasonal trends, and internal data to optimize performance of print catalog. You will gain exposure to a large group of key suppliers, develop innovative promotional strategies to drive results, and assist in category level analysis.  

To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter with a passion for product and a creative eye. You will work on a fast paced team and see real-time material impact on the business. You must have an interest in innovating to solve business problems creatively and a willingness to hit the ground running. You will have the opportunity to travel to trade shows in hot spots like New York, Atlanta and Las Vegas where you will negotiate partnership and strengthen relationships with your vendors.

  • Design imagery for photography needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with key supplier partners
  • Innovate on merchandise and design concepts, creative and messaging
  • Apply analytical rigor to identify success drivers and areas of opportunity
  • Analyze competitor performance, marketing and pricing
  • Collaborate productively with cross functional partners (Category Management, Creative, Marketing, Operations, Pricing, Exclusive Brands) to drive action and realize goals
  • Build & maintain industry expertise; keep abreast of trends and new product ideas


  • Bachelor Degree with a strong academic record
  • Articulate, persuasive communicator with well-developed collaborative instincts and skills 
  • Strong easthetic sensibility and eye for interior design, with a collaborative nature
  • Innovative approach to solving problems
  • Ability to thrive and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to juggle multiple priorities, pivoting quickly as needed
  • Interest in developing negotiation skills
  • Analytical and quantitative skills – experience with Excel pivot tables and/or SQL a plus
  • Innovative, outside-the-box problem-solving skills
