Overview:

This individual will oversee the Clinical Data Management branch of the Data Management department supporting new hires and current staff members and the 165+ studies underway. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, team leadership, responsiveness, and a high level of organization to meet timelines and customer expectation and be motivated by the idea that together we can accomplish great things and make a positive contribution to society through the company’s mission.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Serve as data management subject matter expert for project team members and Invicro leadership. 

·       Provide department level leadership including management of line managers and resourcing. 

·       Responsible for hiring, managing and retaining a diverse, highly qualified technical focused data management staff and for providing career coaching, growth, and personal development. 

·       Support RFIs and audits (client, CRO, FDA) and ensure study and department are audit-ready; serve as point-of-contact when needed. 

·       Write and review supporting documentation for data management including Data Quality Plans, Data Transfer Protocols, and Data Management Plans. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 6+ years’ experience in a data management role.
  • Prior supervisory experience ideally 2-4 years in a formal supervisor role; recognizes impact of work on other departments and long-term initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated with roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Sound Judgement including ability to navigate complex issues with external customers.
  •  Preferred experience mentoring and developing employees in data management responsibilities.
