AT A GLANCE

The RVO Health People Experience Team seeks to expand by bringing on an Associate Director of Learning, Development and Growth. We are looking to hire someone to help us accomplish many short-term and long-term goals and, as a result, drive impact on RVO Health’s culture, leadership development, and employee experience. 

The RVO Health portfolio helps nearly 100 million people a month seek health information, find doctors, save money, and effectively manage their health and well-being. This role will support our learning and development, performance management and employee experience.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Responsible for creating a learning and development strategy for people managers and leadership 
  • Lead a team of individual contributors 
  • Design and deliver a highly effective people manager training program
  • Design and produce training materials, including e-learning courses for people managers and leaders
  • Drive a learning culture throughout the organization and the employee lifecycle by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Own and optimize our annual performance management process, resources, and frameworks. 
  • Help templatize learning and equip leaders with effective tools they can share back with their teams
  • Contribute thought leadership to the creation of talent development frameworks, career trajectories, and succession plans
  • Create a strategic roll-out plan for career journeys inclusive of career trajectories and behavioral competencies

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of relevant learning and development experience ideally in a fast-paced organization with a distributed and hybrid workforce. 
  • Experience managing a team and driving results through others 
  • Experience developing manager and leadership training programs 
  • Experience conducting live trainings 
  • Ability to connect with and proactively engage stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and generate solutions 
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and follow through
  • Passion for our mission
  • Create structure out of ambiguity and have a pragmatic “can do” and “make it happen” attitude

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $116,000 - $135,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
