Vox.com's politics-policy team needs an associate editor who’s as obsessed with politics and policy as we are. The ideal candidate sees the 2016 campaign as an important moment for real people living real lives. She or he looks past the circus to identify smart stories. This editor wants to get to the heart of the matter and assign stories that explain why a controversy of the day matters. This editor likes collaborating with other editors and writers (of all levels) to come up with great ideas.
