Associate Manager, Payment Fraud

Job Title : Manager-Payment Fraud- India 

Poshmark is looking for a Manager to manage and perform day to day activities for the Payment Fraud Team. This role will report directly to the Associate Director of Fraud & Payments. You will play an important role in all areas related to fraud detection and solve fraud-related issues. A large part of the role will be to manage a team and oversee our payment fraud process across all our partnerships with the goal of minimizing fraud losses for the company and improving operations.

**Candidates must be able to work a Monday-Friday schedule.**

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve our payment fraud processes and develop scalable solutions to minimize fraud ratio
  • Help develop operational improvements and scalable solutions in payment fraud
  • Understand and keep up to date with fraud trends and patterns
  • Become a subject matter expert in payment fraud operations and metrics
  • Manage, develop and retain a high performing team through mentorship, feedback and career development
  • Help evaluate, evolve and scale our approach to fraud management, including finding the optimal balance between human review and vendor-based solutions 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Fraud, Product, Engineering, Community, and Marketplace Operations to design and deliver operational solutions

6-Month Accomplishments:

  • Familiar with Poshmark policies, Payment Fraud, and operational procedures
  • Effectively manage and develop team members
  • Independently handle assigned payment fraud related support cases with ease and in a sensitive manner
  • Use back office tools to take appropriate actions on user accounts or orders
  • Investigate orders, identify cross-functional teams involved, and collaborate effectively together
  • Proactively communicate identified trends, patterns and risks with the team

12+ Month Accomplishments:

  • Fully achieve all 6-month responsibilities
  • Become an expert with our various payment fraud systems and understand how the ecosystem works together
  • Define SLAs and use data analytics to track progress and suggest process improvements
  • Manage, prioritize, and deliver on multiple projects at a time
  • Take on additional responsibilities in order to support operations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in payment fraud operations,or other related area
  • 2+ years of experience leading & managing high-performing teams, including remote teams
  • Experience with scaling operations globally or across multiple providers
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex systems and processes and use technology to drive process improvements
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail oriented - Exercise extreme attention to detail; is accurate, organized and productive
  • Good judgment - Exercise critical thinking, analyzing and taking ownership of outcomes
  • Team player - Collaborate with other team members to help them meet their goals and objectives
  • Passionate about community & helping our users
