What You’ll Do

The Benefits & Wellness Programs Associate is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and administering benefits and wellness programs for SSI. This position will research and apply an in-depth understanding of external best practices and innovative trends to SSI’s wellness and benefits programs. The primary functions of the position are to manage all aspects of employee wellness programs, including but not limited to program development and modification, utilization modeling, vendor management, benefits open enrollment, new hire education, and employee engagement. In addition, this role will handle benefit administration activities such as vendor payments, audits, report and presentation development, and employee e-mail and telephone support.

Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Benefits Manager

  • Plan, design, implement, and administer comprehensive wellness strategies and programs.
  • Effectively manage and collaborate with vendors and external partners, including managing performance of contracts to ensure maximum value of services are delivered.
  • Strategically assess the effectiveness of current wellness programs in achieving organizational objectives; identifies best practices and benchmarks and develops recommendations for modifications to align to HR strategy and business goals.
  • Develop and coordinate communication strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees & leaders about wellness programs and benefits.
  • Prepare annual budget and manage expenditures related to the wellness and benefits programs.
  • Communicate actively with Accounting, Finance, HRIS, HRBPs, and other departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in health and wellness, human resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred.
  • Experience doing relevant work in wellness and/or benefits
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through processes, identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintain a close attention to detail.
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.
  • You’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

 

Base Pay Range
$82,096$188,800 USD
