We are looking for an Associate Project Manager (APM) to join the GSO (Global Sales Organization) Shared Services team to lead the end-to-end delivery of outsourced services and processes with a service provider that books, manages and executes digital advertising campaigns.  You will be responsible for driving the program execution and process improvement with our vendor partner while also working with our Program Managers on a number of strategic projects.  The focus will primarily be on Vendor and Project Management, Operational planning, Queue & Escalation Management, Quality Assurance, and Training.  This includes providing quality checks, conducting resource analysis, pulling operational reports, and optimizing performance through workload management and capacity planning.

In addition, this role will assist with various other new and existing programs managed by the GSO Shared Services team. Candidates hoping to fill this role must be nimble team players who are comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently. 

Responsibilities:

  • Project managing the implementation of new global processes or programs with the vendor.
  • Build operational project plans ensuring they are effectively planned and well-organized.
  • Manage the Shared services operating model through forecasting, planning, deploying and training resources.
  • Manage the transition, knowledge transfers & process reengineering with our outsourced partner.
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operations (queue) with the outsourced service provider.
  • Design reporting standards for operational metrics, service level requirements and process KPIs.
  • Provide quality checks – monitoring performance against service level agreements and addressing any issues through corrective action plans around KPIs.
  • Make fast, high-quality decisions that strengthen the company.
  • Think like an owner and have an impact outside of your core functions by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage and producing results that will help effectively scale.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MA/MBA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in vendor/ project/ program management in Digital Media
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People management experience
  • Experience with MS Project, Flow, Smartsheet, PowerBI, Tableau
  • PMP or Six-Sigma Certified
  • Ability to present data in an effective, actionable manner and learn new software quickly
  • Ability to interact comfortably with both clients and internal departments including conducting training to our vendor partners
  • Experience working with a fast-paced, diverse cross-functional and global teams
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
