Associate SEO Content Writer

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced SEO content writer who knows how to coordinate with varied partners to deliver high-quality content. You will write the articles and content that help support the continuation and growth of our brands and bring traffic to the sites. You will be a part of the growing SEO content function at Momentive and SurveyMonkey, and support an important area for the organization.

You will

  • Support the content creation process from topic brainstorming to publish, under the leadership of the Managing Editor, SEO, to bring traffic to the SurveyMonkey and Momentive sites with the goal of increasing conversions
  • Manage deadlines and coordinating hand-offs between internal and external parties
  • Work with SEO strategists and other partners to identify search opportunities and support development of the editorial calendar around educational content related to research for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Complete regular updates to ensure our content is always the most relevant and accurate it can be for our audience
  • Support measurement and reporting on traffic and conversions, using data and insights to guide the roadmap by continuously incorporating insights
  • Report to the Senior Director, Content within the Brand Marketing team

You have

  • 3+ years of writing experience, with experience in editing and SEO content creation
  • Bachelors degree, advanced degree a plus
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and keyword targeting as it applies to content creation, optimization, and conversions
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage projects & expectations.
  • Impeccable editing and proofreading skills with a clear point of view to help Momentive and SurveyMonkey stand out from the crowd
  • Experience working with tools for SEO content creation such as Clearscope, Grammarly, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
  • Experience writing/working in B2B SaaS
