Rogue Recruitment is looking for a Director of Accounting to join a very stable commercial insurance company here in the Tulsa, OK area. This is a direct hire, hybrid career opportunity paying anywhere in the $125-160K/yr. range, depending on overall qualifications and experience.
Requirements:
- This role requires a Bachelor's Degree, as well as a CPA license.
- Qualified candidates will have at least 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years of management experience.
- Workday financial system experience is preferred, but not necessarily required.
- Some experience with Property & Casualty insurance would be ideal, but not required.
- Any public accounting audit assurance experience would also be a plus.
- In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the AR/AP teams (approx. 10-15 direct reports).
- Some of the essential ongoing responsibilities of this role will include the oversight of compiling, consolidating, and analyzing accounting/finance information for the production of statements, schedules, filings, and reports of a complex nature.
- Additionally, this person will also be responsible for directing the activities to maintain general ledgers and the resulting financial reports, as well as developing & directing the implementation of accounting policies and operations of accounting systems, budgeting, and financial report preparation.
