We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Data Department, specifically the Business Intelligence unit.

As a BI Product Owner, you will work closely with the Business Intelligence team, where you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and optimisation of data-driven products and initiatives. 

In this role you will : 

  • Ensure BI products and initiatives align with the broader data strategy, supporting organizational goals.
  • Manage and prioritise product roadmaps, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, actionable insights.
  • Streamline the current Data Insights offering by reducing redundancies, eliminating duplicate data, and enhancing clarity and scope to maximize business value.
  • Improve the usability of BI products, making data insights more intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with BI tools, and a proven track record in product ownership.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and guide teams in Agile best practices.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and task prioritisation.
  • Define clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and a shared definition of done for all tasks.
  • Translate business data requirements into actionable features and technical deliverables.
  • Collaborate with data teams (engineers, scientists, analysts) to ensure objective alignment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders for clear communication.
  • Coordinate with other Product Owners to deliver cross-domain, end-to-end solutions.
  • Own the BI Product Roadmap, aligning priorities with strategic goals.
  • Plan releases and regularly update stakeholders on progress.
  • Monitor data product performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Conduct market research to maintain product competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Someone with a passion for iGaming and the technology that powers the online gaming industry.
  • Skilled at defining and prioritising product features, and proven experience working as a Product Owner and within Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • Have an understanding of the role of Business Intelligence, in order to be able to channel requests efficiently and deal with stakeholders easily. Strong ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business deliverables.
  • Proven experience displaying decision making skills, with the ability to assess business impact, risks and opportunity.
  • Comfortable dealing with stakeholders of varied seniority, from both Commercial and Technical sides of the organisation, and able to clearly articulate vision, goals, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Someone who can identify problems in the Business that need to be resolved, in order to develop a Product that will add value and reduce risk, ultimately helping GiG have an edge over competition to boost our business.
  • Someone who has an understanding of Operational and Financial KPIs used in the industry such as NRC, FTD, Conversion Rates, ARPU, GGR, NGR, Bonus Cost.

  • Knowledge of Atlassian products : Jira, Confluence
     
  • Knowledge of BI Tools : Qlik Sense (Power BI, Tableau)
