Bookkeeper

JW Player is looking to add a Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. This role will work closely with our VP of Finance to be responsible for full cycle Accounts Receivable; entering deposit and case reports, help with AR collections, and maintaining customer and vendor records. This is a great opportunity for an Accounting or Bookkeeping professional who wants exposure to an established and rapidly growing technology company. 

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for full cycle Account Receivable
  • Maintaining customer and vendor records 
  • Manage Multiple Bank reconciliations for depository accounts 
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
  • Reviewing for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries 
  • Assistance with the annual audit process 
  • Maintaining financial documents and supporting files 
  • Issuing customers and vendor statements, reconciliation of discrepancies 
  • Prepare and review of expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure 
  • Help calculating sales commissions, payroll, bonuses, and taxes 
  • Prepare annual 1099’s 
  • Perform other related duties as may be requested by management

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of Bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks accounting software (knowledge of Great Plains is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced start-up work environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interface with multiple teams within the organization
