But at Pleo, we value designers who are great not only because they create striking ads, videos, graphics or websites – but because they can also explain how they got there.

We’ve got a newish brand identity we’re proud of, and it’s starting to sparkle. We want to diversify our growth and lead acquisition, and believe the compelling brand assets are vital here. 

In this role, you’ll bring your graphic and digital design flare to Pleo – lots of ideas, variations, the ability to tweak things against tight deadlines. You’ll also be joining one of the finest brand teams Scandinavia can offer…

We’re super proud of the 9-strong team we have here, with creative disciples of all persuasions. It’s effectively an agency inside the company, but without the sleepless nights and award-seeking bullshit.  

Anyway, back to you. 

Our bet is you enjoy communicating with colleagues who might not have your experience – and working with them to nail the finished product. We’re talking about commercial and product teams. At Pleo, you’ll be working with both; creating demand gen experiments and ads that leads love, working on CX collateral, and bringing a bit of brand flourish to our two app environments and website.

It’s good that you’re rigorous and speak up where you think things could be improved – particularly with early ideation and design thinking. 

And it’s OK if you get bugged by inconsistency or missed opportunities. We do too. 

After all, Pleo will become your living portfolio, with your work spread across our revamped website, our sales collateral, our ads, our product marketing… and so much more. It’s going to be a portfolio that you’re proud of.

Now we need someone – to be based in our London, Stockholm, Berlin or Copenhagen offices – to help us look our best.

Things you will be doing

  • Working from creative briefs, you’ll develop ideas from first concept to finished design across a variety of platforms
  • Embracing and unfurling the Pleo brand identity, ensuring consistency across marketing channels
  • Managing your project load to ensure that deadlines are met and stakeholders are satisfied
  • Supporting with design localisation projects for ads, collateral, the website and beyond
  • Communicating ideas and choices behind your design decisions with colleagues from across Pleo – and reworking concepts based on feedback if necessary
  • Spearheading creative workshops and design thinking sessions on larger, thorny projects

Who you are

  • A focused, enthusiastic graphic/marketing/digital designer with a few years of experience at an agency or company that believes in the value of good design
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, with plenty of input from across departments
  • Based in (or happy to relocate to))
  • Experience with motion design, front-end, video production and or editing is a huge bonus
  • It’s a bonus too if you’ve got any experience working in translated design assets, and also if you’ve spent any time working with brand guidelines, we’d love to hear about it
  • Experience building and maintaining brand guidelines is a huge boon too!
    You’ve got knowledge of a pretty sa-weet design stack. We use Figma, Adobe CC and DaVinci Resolve. Anything vital we're missing? Tell us!
