Livestream, the largest global livestreaming platform, is hiring a Branded Content Editor to join its growing Marketing team in our Bushwick offices. This role will report to the Director of Content Marketing and aid the content and social team in creating original, compelling, research and reporting-driven content to drive leads and amplify the Livestream brand. This person should have a degree in either Journalism, Creative Writing, or Communications and experience in the media and publishing world researching, reporting, and writing articles.

The three requirements of the successful candidate are:

  • Ability to write compelling, creative, clean copy on any topic.
  • Fast and resourceful research skills and the experience to ask the right questions in interviews that drive interesting results.
  • An understanding of how Content Marketing works and how content drives sales.

The Branded Content Editor role is a newly created role within a growing Marketing organization. The ideal candidate would have some understanding of the video tech space, copywriting skills, experience in Marketo or Salesforce, and an understanding of how content drives leads and sales in a B2B organization. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research and conduct interviews to create 1-2 substantive blog posts a week and one longform research piece per quarter.
  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion.
  • Ability to write content that is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Communicate and plan for all creative resources with designers.
  • Contribute fresh content ideas and concepts based on an understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and customer/audience feedback.


  • BA/BS in any writing-based program (Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing).
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and social media platforms.
  • Project management skills including the ability to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment while still focusing on the delivery of lead-driven results.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing strategy, development, distribution, and measurement.
  • Solutions oriented, positivity, sense of humor a must.
