THINGS YOU WILL DO   

Drive business requirements, work with development team to provide an understanding of functional domain and related business requirements, stakeholder management, write user stories, follow agile practices, draw journey diagrams, status reporting and tracking and other tasks as per project requirements.

BUSSINES ANALYST

  • Perform detailed functional analysis covering data, systems and interfaces.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed jira stories, systems processes and designs seeking efficient and effective solutions to business problems
  • Understanding of Agile methodology- breaking up functional requirements in epics and stories
  • Act as a conduit for knowledge and guidance to local teams representing the digital products
  • Be comfortable developing and working with prototypes to iterate experience design, journeys and features
  • Work with a number of inter-related digital products owners to define the intended client and staff digital experiences
  • Analyse and manage the impact of changing requirements
  • Work with business process and data owners to provide product insights
  • Be equally comfortable considering complex data sets and their effect on the experience design and roadmap
  • Identify where the agreed business benefits and matching KPIs for the product can be surfaced and measured in journeys
  • Work with risk and controls as required to achieve approvals and permissions. Consider these in journey/feature design
  • Work with the accountable product owners to consider how the product will be taken to market
  • Contribute to the UX design to clearly articulate the journeys, designs and features to stakeholders and team members
  • Work with local stakeholders [Business management, change] to gather, validate and iterate requirements based on stakeholder or local team feedback
  • Contribute to, and help prioritize the requirement backlog in collaboration with the accountable product owner. Ensure the wider team understands the backlog
  • Help to write and elaborate stories, and achieve validation of stories, interaction patterns, data models with team membe
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars), internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behavior

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE  

  • First-rate communicator at all levels, with excellent interpersonal skills and desire to fully participate in the team
  • Exposure and success working within a matrix organization model
  • Experience in working within a global organization and globally distributed development teams
  • Translates ideas into concrete work activities
  • Capture explicit and implicit requirements and define appropriate solutions, in combination with users, sponsors and the wider IT department
  • Very experienced with documenting use case and agile stories, process flow diagrams
  • Analyzing the systems and user impact in partnership with other business analyst and business stakeholders
  • Driven individual is required, with track record of being delivery focused
  • Adapt solutions to the constraints of externally imposed deadlines
  • Contributes to improvements through innovative solutions, approaches, products or services

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in implementing Digital Tech like Analytics, Chat bot and OCR
  • Knowledge and appreciation of micro services
  • Investment Banking experience in the operations / back office area
  • Knowledge of regulation impacting investment banking like FATCA, EMIR, MiFID, etc.
  • Experience in working remotely
