Role Significance
As a Business Analyst at Vonage, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational and commercial excellence, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance business outcomes and facilitate growth.
This role demands hands-on expertise in data analytics, visualization, and dashboard management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication, project management abilities, and a customer-centric approach are vital. They should be self-starters with a knack for independent problem-solving, able to anticipate business needs and work with diverse stakeholders.
What you’ll do

Requirement Analysis: Thoroughly analyze and document the impacts of requests across the organization, ensuring clear definition and documentation of business problems

Solution Development: Work to ensure solutions adhere to best practices, documenting justifications for non-standard solutions, and identifying necessary systems and process controls to meet regulatory requirements

Process Improvement: Identify user scenarios, generate new or modified process workflows, and collaborate closely with Product Owners and Managers for prioritization and operational support

Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout projects, including reporting progress updates to Program and Project Managers, and facilitating meetings while translating technical concepts into non-technical language
What you’ll bring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile Scrum methodologies
- Experience with tools such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, Google Suites, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with billing accounts in Zuora, and ideally, experience with Salesforce and Oracle

A deep understanding of sales metrics and the ability to collaborate with Sales Leaders to drive initiatives for commercial success and operational improvements

Experience leading automation efforts and supporting key sales planning and reporting mechanisms, including identifying and implementing operational processes and reporting to enable excellence

The ability to define analytical approaches to solve complex problems, design scalable solutions to generate actionable business insights, and resolve sales operational issues in a timely manner
What’s required for the application
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- 5+ years of industry experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, SQL, Python, and data visualization software such as Tableau
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior management
Nice to have
- Experience in similar industries (SaaS, CPaaS, cloud)
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Anaplan, and operating in lean, fast-paced environments
