We are now looking for an enthusiastic Business Controller to join our team in Helsinki. We are changing the rules of an entire industry to create something people and businesses can actually use. As our Business Controller your job is to help us build transparency and predictability on the company sales and expenditures.

  • Creating and maintaining the structure and processes for our company’s financial planning and control
    • Have a natural sense for business needs
    • Maintain the company bank balance and remain cognizant of outstanding payments
    • Approve invoices to be paid
    • Read and review any payment documentation to check its approval and accuracy sake
    • Follow up with reimbursements and payment approvals
    • Make sure all financial statements and accounting tables are correct and precise
    • Reconcile all bank statements and monthly financial reports

  • Running the continuous planning cycle, i.e. providing the management accounts on a monthly basis, creating the latest estimate together with management, providing comparisons of planned vs actuals and details on underlying revenue and cost drivers
  • Coordinate with the financial audits
  • Maintain the company insurance structure and processes
