Business Data Analyst

An ideal candidate will have a strong track record in data collection, manipulation, analysis and reporting.  They should demonstrate a passion for telling actionable stories through data analysis and rely upon strong communication and presentation skills to effectively relay the results of their analyses.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love data-driven decision making, are eager to learn and are looking to take the next step in your career by supporting a large-scale consumer launch, this is the role for you.  We envision this role will be a jack-of-all-trades role to support varied launch needs. 

In Business Operations for Helix, you will:

  • Tackle diverse and complex data problems - anything from supply chain analytics, marketing operations, marketing analytics and optimization, international expansion, growth initiatives, data cleansing, and customer experience analysis
  • Support the company's leadership team with relevant and insightful reports to assist with strategic decision making
  • Help shape the initial suite of reports and KPIs needed for commercial launch
  • Implement scalable and efficient processes that can support millions of customers and dozens of partners
  • Always be where the fire is hottest - jump in to help solve the most critical challenges

Required background:

  • BA or BS degree; MBA optional
  • 1-3 years in an analyst role
  • Advanced SQL skills and understanding of relational databases, eg MySQL, Oracle
  • Knowledge of how to extract, clean and manipulate data from multiple systems into reporting objects for analysis
  • Highly analytical and structured thinker, including excellent modeling skills in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and incredible attention to detail
  • Strong desire for personal growth
  • Willing to contribute in a variety of ways, even if outside formal responsibilities

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with business/marketing systems, eg CRMs, Marketing Automation Platforms, BI/Analytics Platforms, etc. 
  • Industry or academic background in life sciences or healthcare; engineering or other quantitative degree
