The Role

Lendinvest are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our established Business Development Team.

As part of our rapidly expanding property finance business, covering Bridging, Buy-to-Let and Development finance, this role is ideal for someone with lots of enthusiasm who is looking to grow and develop their skills and career within a business development team.

Part of the office based Business Development Team you will be responsible for first line sales support; managing incoming enquiries, coordinating and completing a limited amount of sales administration duties. You will learn about lead and enquiry qualification and lead capture through to gathering a loan applications from our borrowers for all of our loan products.

You will not need to source business and your main focus will be to support the existing deal process. The expectation is that you will progress to become a Business Development Manager maintaining your own client base in time.

The position is permanent and based out of our London office.

  • First line telephony support for the intermediaries using our Buy-to-Let product;
  • Managing incoming leads, including lead qualification and broker set-up
  • Understanding and interpreting our lending criteria to assist our borrowers and brokers in their dealings with us;
  • liaising with our brokers, borrowers and internal teams to communicate and progress our loans.

What we need you to have

  • Experience working at either a mortgage advisor or a mortgage lender
  • Good attention to detail, written and oral communication skills;
  • Entry level experience or a desire to begin a career in sales.
