We are looking to hire Business Development Associates to join our sales team to accelerate our go-to-market strategy through a focus on Large Employers.

 

Job Description:

Lantern is looking for sharp, collaborative, and motivated Business Development Associates with a passion for digital mental health and wellness.  You will help us segment the marketplace, identify potential buyers and value propositions, and develop a systematic approach for contacting target customers to raise awareness, generate leads, and initiate sales opportunities.

To enable quick introductions you’re a pro-communicator, able to take complex information and succinctly articulate it in a clear way that meets the needs of each member of your audience.

Your role at Lantern:

You will be challenged with large goals and big problems.  Success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed these goals and overcome the challenges laid before us.  You will not be in this alone and will be expected to work with your colleagues in a collaborative manner.  We bring a team approach and all thoughts, ideas,  and new approaches are welcome.  You will need to manage details of a pipelines while also chasing down prospects, clients, contracting paperwork, and supporting each one of your team members.   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Development leadership and team
  • Meet with Fortune 1000 companies both in person and over the phone
  • Identify new prospects and close business
  • Own pipeline management, meeting schedules, and internal communication
  • Bring new ideas to the team

Qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity and comfort working in an early stage company
  • Experience finding new prospects and working with large organizations
  • Readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales skills
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
  • Be eligible to work in the US
  • Be willing to work out of our San Francisco office
