Through visibility down to the product level, our platform will flag product delays (or surplus) early enough for business leaders to react and make informed decisions. This affords our customers a level of supply chain agility previously unavailable, and in turn delivers on our mission which is to make our customers’ supply chain their competitive advantage.

Today our offering includes both digital freight forwarding (Zenfreight) and a stand alone control tower software (ZenTower) and we are looking for specialists in both areas to take our solutions to market and continue on our impressive growth trajectory, playing a central role in what is sure to be an incredible journey

Requirements

At Zencargo, we bring a competitive advantage to our customers through collaboration and data.

You'll be executing our growth strategy by:

  • Targeting named accounts for Zencargo through warm leads, cold prospecting, industry events and social selling
  • Have a robust understanding of sales methodologies (specifically MEDDICC) and sales forecasting
  • Be incredibly structured in your approach to selling, navigating sales pursuits and deal qualification
  • Have demonstrable experience in team selling and quarterbacking complex sales
  • Undercover value in our customers Supply Chain which can be addressed by the Zencargo platform, underpinned by a demonstrable business case.
  • Liaising with Customer Success to ensure we onboard clients the Zencargo Way and maximise the likelihood of a long term and beneficial partnership
  • Gain market insights and trends in order to ensure we continue to build a market leading product which solves our customers most important problems
  • Develop proposals, respond to RFP's and conduct face-to-face sales presentations for prospective customers
  • Develop new client relationships and leverage existing and past client relationships to build and manage a sustained pipeline of opportunities

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience selling SaaS or Supply Chain Solutions to companies >£100M in revenue or 5+ years experience in selling Freight Forwarding services
  • Track record of over performance and exceeding quota
  • Data driven, highly numerate with business case examples
  • Industry sales training/accreditation
  • Strong prospecting and qualification skills

Our founding team have wide ranging experience in the shipping and logistics industry, financial services, machine learning, and online platform businesses.

Our Product and Engineering team have experience in international B2B marketplaces, disruptive communication platforms, running product development agencies, financial products and DNA sequencing.

Our Sales function is a mix of SaaS and Freight sales people, operating in a collaborative environment with a genuine desire to make a difference for our clients and create a business which is renowned throughout the industry and beyond.
