The Business Development Director is a newly created position which will partner closely with New York leadership to make a visible impact. This role will be responsible for identifying, generating, and closing new business opportunities by selling the company’s services to New York-based Financial Services firms

What you'll do

  • Sourcing and qualifying opportunities with Financial Institutions
  • Expanding and developing opportunities with existing client relationships
  • Identifying and qualifying all opportunities during the sales process
  • Creating and executing the sales plan and process, including coordination of all necessary internal and external resources to best position CrossCountry Consulting to secure business
  • Actively work existing relationships, networking contacts, professional affiliations, and industry groups
  • Support leadership team in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate
  • Work closely with marketing resources to develop effective, targeted go-to-market plans for the industry teams they support

Desired Qualifications

  • A consulting business development executive who possesses a consistent and demonstrable track record of achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Demonstrable background of developing and closing significant new name clients in his/her career, with expertise in the banking and capital markets sector.
