Business Development Director - Publisher Solutions, DACH

Integral Ad Science is looking for a Business Director for Publishers for its Berlin office. 

The Business Director for Publishers will help develop a new business within Integral Ad Science.  This person will build a strategy; work with our product teams to develop a publisher ready product.   They will engage with publishers to build out new relationships, integrate our product and manage the partnership. This ambitious self-starter will collaborate with numerous points of contact both internal and external as he/she progresses through the business development process from pitch to scope to contract.


  • Develop strategy and action plan consistent with Integral vision
  • Manage both publisher strategy and initiatives, developing, closing, and managing partnerships with the Publishers.
  • Work with internal departments like Product, Marketing, Sales and Client Services to help support the growth and direction of Integral’s products
  • Discover and develop new business and revenue opportunities
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue expectations, insuring a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Be a thought leader for the company, with a finger on the pulse of the industry and help inform Integral in terms of product enhancements, changes, new offerings, and strategy and what direction the business should be headed


  • 5+ years sales and business development/strategic sales experience in a technology solution sales company, an advertising sales business, had worked with the Publisher community.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and related metrics
  • Network of contacts with strategic publishers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Proactive, driven, entrepreneurial and action-oriented individual who can accomplish goals, work well in a team-environment, and thrives in fast-paced challenging environment
  • Ability to sell based on value, not price
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape, as well as a solid grasp of technology and the Web
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
