Who you’ll be working with
You’ll report to Milan. He’s our Head of Direct Sales and founder of the MarketInvoice Football Team who’s passionate about developing his and others’ careers. He’s all about helping his team achieve their personal goals, no matter how challenging they are.
You’ll be joining a team of 24 Sales and Customer success superstars responsible for all of our existing customer relationships as well as driving new business. They’re a close-knit bunch which includes Tom who used to be a DJ, a passionate golfer named Darvish and sometimes even Zac the dog when Rebecca brings him with her to the office. Together they help each other grow, always setting high standards to consistently exceed their goals.

Your new role
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your business acumen by talking directly to decision-makers at growing UK businesses across a range of sectors. You’ll help drive the use of our funding solutions among existing customers while making sure they have the best possible experience. Our customers are fascinating and so passionate about what they do. You’ll play a role in getting them to where they want go.
What you’ll be doing
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to genuinely help entrepreneurs grow their business by providing our solutions to a wide range of UK companies. Our recent partnerships mean that MarketInvoice is entering a very exciting period of accelerated growth. You and your team will closely support this growth by helping the team manage our growing portfolio. You’ll need to be a meticulous, high performing superstar to make it happen.
You’ll be on a career progression trajectory straight away, spending the first 3 months being trained, developed and tested to become the best. At an early stage in your career, you’ll be given the opportunity to work directly with our customers and we’ll trust you to generate revenue. Your contribution will be key to the growth of our business.
You’re already a data-driven hard-worker who’s passionate about achieving targets and great results. That’s why you’ll be great at upselling and cross selling to your existing customer base and sourcing referral business from these relationships. You’ll do this with the support of your team along with mentoring from your manager to help you reach your most ambitious personal objectives. We’re revolutionising business finance and we can’t wait for you to pitch in and help us do it.
With competitor landscape and brand training from the outset, you’ll understand how MarketInvoice fits into the wider ecosystem of SME and enterprise service providers and exactly why our USPs are important in today’s fast-changing business environment. You’ll be a valued member of your own and the wider MarketInvoice team, supporting key initiatives across the business.
