As a Business Development Manager on AirMap's Partner Success team, you will open doors for AirMap technology partnerships as you drive new product incubation and exploratory efforts.

You are a closer with demonstrated success in enterprise technology sales. You are organized, action-oriented and well-versed in GIS and API technologies. You leverage your robust relationships in the industry to uncover new business opportunities, evaluate technology needs, cultivate deep partnerships, manage business agreements, and collaborate with internal and external partners. You love challenging problems and huge opportunity, and have a passion for drones, data, flying, infrastructure, and smart government.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage AirMap business development in assigned region.
  • Lead exploratory discussions with potential AirMap partners.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to inform prospective partners of AirMap’s ability to address their requirements.
  • Structure and negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Own and evolve critical relationships.
  • Evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to the management team
  • Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of internal constituents (product, marketing, partner success, policy) to influence AirMap go-to-market strategy.
  • Participate in local business and civic affairs to promote AirMap and UAS activities within assigned region.
  • Prepare and submit required weekly/monthly reports pertaining to business capture activities, forecasts and budgets in the standard required formats. Prepare and submit special reports as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5+ years experience owning sales or business development and achieving results.
  • Sound understanding of customer business drivers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Mobile and willing to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years experience in technology sales.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and surpassing revenue goals.
  • Aviation industry experience.
  • Government sales experience.
