Pager is hiring a Business Development Manager in Chicago to fuel the growth of our business. This team is focused on developing strategic partnerships within the healthcare space. This role will initially support sales enablement by shaping Pager’s value proposition via collateral development, data analysis, and participation in client calls and meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research on prospective clients to inform our business development strategy
  • Create pitch decks and other sales collateral in a consultative sales approach
  • Lead analysis and support strategy to drive forward new revenue opportunities for current and potential clients
  • Partner with teams internally to ensure we are hitting key steps in our path to create value
  • Provide due diligence to the sales team, learn about customers needs and figuring out how Pager can best provide solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with operational partners within client organizations'
  • Prospect and do initial outreach to new potential clients
  • Attend and participate in client meetings, as needed
  • Traveling should be expected, up to 50% of the time once travel restrictions are lifted

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in a related role. This may include business development, sales, or consulting.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience is required
  • Highly executive presence and comfortable working with ambiguity 
  • Experience in healthcare is required, ideally in payer/provider technology
  • Experience in a high-growth company is a plus
  • Strong strategic & analytical aptitude
  • MBA or equivalent is a plus
