Business Development Manager, Cloud Alliances

Business Development Manager to drive key Cloud Alliances GTM for US TBD.

Where you can make an impact:

  • Lead the GTM and sales efforts between Rubrik’s most strategic alliance partners and Rubrik’s sales, channel and field marketing teams in assigned region
  • Understand the alliance partners’ organizations and sales process to connect partner sellers with Rubrik
  • Train and enable alliance partners on Rubrik value proposition and how to identify opportunities
  • Plan, lead execution of, and follow up on sales events within assigned region
  • Drive top of funnel lead generation activities with alliance partners
  • Monitor and measure the performance of top alliance partners, and execute a cadence of interactions with alliance partners’ key stakeholders

Who you are:

  • Hard working, self-driven and highly motivated individual with evidence of strong execution
  • Creative and positive team player who enjoys taking ownership of outcomes, and running sales campaigns with key partners
  • Strong knowledge of data protection, data center and cloud markets
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, video and presentation
  • Able to present in front of large audiences and host events with and for alliance partners and end-customers
  • Able to create deals with alliance partners, work on deals and close them in close sync with Rubrik Account Teams
  • Proactively creates solutions for challenges, and works with partners and matrixed teams to rapidly win together
  • Maintains great reputation and relationships with key partners in assigned region

Ideal background:

  • Experience working in sales, alliances and channel roles
  • Proven record of exceeding quotas/targets with Alliance Partners or Competitors
  • Functional understanding of hybrid cloud: strategy, messaging, digital transformation, migration and cloud initiatives.
  • Sold competitive solutions in Backup, Disaster Recovery, Migration and Cloud
  • Has built and executed Alliance partner sales and marketing plans
  • Successfully run product sales trainings with Alliance partners
  • Works with Alliance partners to identify and create new opportunities
  • Knows how to grow, track, and report sales and activities, with forecasting hygiene
  • Proven ability to engage and influence partners at the sales leadership level
  • Worked for or with partners like Microsoft, AWS, Google, Pure Storage, Nutanix, NetApp and others, and understands their value proposition
