We have a brilliant opportunity here at Huboo to join us as a Business Development Manager. Within this role, you will play a key part in the growth and success of the business, in an excellent working environment in Central Bristol, with a great team of people.

Huboo are a technology led ecommerce fulfilment company, focused on helping online sellers grow their business by providing global fulfilment, we are VC funded and continue to grow at a rapid pace.


Key responsibilities for a Business Development Manager:

  • Hunting, discovering, and pursuing new sales prospects
  • Reaching out and building relationships with new clients via phone, email and social media
  • Working to targets and KPI’s
  • Using a suite of tools to generate leads as well as being creative to source your own via social media and other channels
  • Fact finding with new clients to really understand their business
  • Negotiating new deals
  • Having bespoke conversations with clients to ensure we can match their needs
  • Providing a fantastic customer service with all interactions

Requirements

What we look for in our Business Development Manager:

We are looking for someone with lots of enthusiasm, the desire to succeed and achieve sales targets, a focused mind, and a can-do attitude. To be considered for this role, you will also need:

  • A minimum of 3 years direct sales experience (cold calling, working with KPIs, generating and chasing up on leads, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great problem-solving skills with a creative edge
  • The ability to build strong relationships, listen and understand what makes people tick
  • A continuous improvement mindset and attitude; we do not want someone who will settle for the status quo, new ideas are certainly encouraged!
  • Excellent ability to self-motivate and achieve great results
  • Exposure / experience with e-commerce sales is strongly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage the full end to end sales journey

About us:

Founded in 2017, Huboo was created by e-commerce sellers for e-commerce sellers. Martin Bysh (CEO) and Paul Dodd (CTO) found that the demands and struggles that came with picking, packing, and shipping their products was becoming impossible. They considered outsourcing their fulfilment but could not find a company that allowed them to remain in the driving seat of their growing business.

Paul and Martin soon created Huboo’s unique Hub Model.

Huboo was then founded. Huboo is not like any normal fulfilment warehouse, we have a specific Hub Model, which allows our Hub Managers to take ownership of their Hubs and be the point of contact for our clients. They are not only pickers and packers but are also account managers too. Huboo work with clients selling through eBay, Amazon, and other channels. We are the fastest growing e-commerce fulfilment company in the UK and are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our exciting journey!
