As Business Development Manager, you will own all growth efforts for Q in San Francisco, coordinating a team of resources at headquarters to aggressively win the market.


  • Explore, identify and evaluate strategic growth opportunities with a data-driven approach
  • Understand the competitive landscape and work to win it
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to build brand awareness for Q in San Francisco
  • Lead customer development activities (events, networking) to increase Q presence in San Francisco
  • Set a strategic business development plan for San Francisco, identifying specific prospects / partners to approach
  • Shape the sales strategy and work with inside sales reps to bring Q to offices everywhere
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to understand and maintain a pulse on operational hurdles and customer experience while implementing growth initiatives
  • Conduct usability studies to ensure products and services are well adapted to be successful

  • Minimum of 3 years of growth strategy experience (sales, market research, growth strategy and/or marketing)
  • Strong local network
  • Proven analytical capability
  • Experience with campaign marketing tools
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce proficiency a plus
  • Experience in a high growth technology startup strongly preferred
