To further grow the customer base of our innovative digital ad-targeting product - 42matters’ Audience Finder https://audience.42matters.com/ - we are looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (US-Based).

In this role you will be responsible for the design, set-up and execution of the Audience Finder business strategy for the US market. With your strong network and broad understanding of the digital advertising industry, you identify prospects, present the Audience Finder to relevant players (i.e. large to small sized agencies, marketeers or corporations) and attend / organize events across the US to find new business opportunities and to build the right partnerships.

You combine solid strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You not only grow the revenues through your sales and business development activities, but also establish the 42matters Audience Finder brand in your core market.

Working closely together with the core team in Switzerland and directly reporting to the CEO, you will have the unique opportunity to build 42matters US presence from scratch, with almost unlimited opportunities for personal and professional growth.


  • Design & execute 42matters’ Audience Finder business strategy in the US market.
  • Grow 42matters revenues and establish 42matters’ Audience Finder as a brand.
  • Build sales partnerships that help to scale the Audience Finder business in the US.
  • Full-cycle outbound sales (prospect, cold call, qualify, pitch and close deals) of 42matters' Audience Finder.
  • Both organize events and attend conferences / trade fairs to meet with potential customers across US.


  • Deep understanding and concrete working experience in the digital advertising industry (special focus on Facebook Ad targeting and Instagram).
  • 3+ years experience as sales representative, in the agency business.
  • Strong network in the US Online Advertising market (i.e., agencies, marketeers, large corporations).
  • BS degree (U.S. education is a plus).
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do positive attitude.
  • Solid strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as necessary.
