Business Development Partner Manager


About the Team 

The Business and Corporate Development team at DoorDash is a small, fast-paced, high-performing group responsible for sourcing, negotiating, executing, managing and integrating Strategic Partnerships. This team is central to DoorDash’s continued growth. We work closely with senior leadership, operations, product, marketing and finance teams to guide company strategy. We lead all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions that have a significant impact on the overall direction of the company. 

About the Role 

As a Manager, you are responsible for the successful implementation of strategic partnerships acquired by the Business Development Team. This includes managing internal and external communications, timely updates, reporting and stakeholder management. You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… 

  • Lead the implementation and integration of strategic partnerships and support the post-contract signature process, including project management of the partnership from contract signature to launch and throughout the life of the partnership.
  • Coordinate integration and implementation through partnership with engineering, product, design, finance, accounting, legal and marketing. 
  • Track the success of the partnership through key business metrics to ensure program success. 
  • Build relationships with leaders at emerging and established companies as well as with within DoorDash
  • Drive quantitative and qualitative analysis and deliver clear and concise recommendations or results

We’re excited about you because… 

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant partner management, or client management experience, whether in business development, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting
  • Work effectively with cross-functional senior executives in a fast-changing environment 
  • Are strategic, driven and analytical with a passion for the local delivery economy and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. 
  • Excel at working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $118,958 - $160,943, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
