Business Development

Business development is accountable for gathering data regarding Company’s customers' markets. Will also assist the marketing department and help to develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Seek new management opportunities
  • Develop new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with business clients, contacts, and vendors.
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of the goals of the company and work to enhance its overall image and presence in the market.
  • Conducts and coordinates financial, product, market, operations, and related research to support strategic and business planning.
  • Perform all market research for housing markets, which includes an analysis new development and construction, local zoning and housing regulations, rental rates, concessions, and product types.
  • Perform property shops and input all information into market survey documents. Analyze and present results.
  • Designs, assembles, and presents all new business marketing collateral including business proposals, PowerPoint presentations, and brochures.
  • Locate ownership information for student housing properties on a national basis.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, industry professionals, Regional Supervisors, Chief Operating Officer, and President/Chairman.
