Herohero is an online platform where anyone can create their own profile and build a community around it. The subscription-based model allows creators to share and monetize various forms of content, including videos, podcasts, photographs, blog posts, and more. Additionally, they can offer services and expertise. Furthermore, Herohero users can also use the platform to directly communicate with other creators and fans.

We at Herohero are proud of what we have done so far โ€“ right now, more than 70 000 people are subscribed to more than 1,000 creators.

Adam Gebrian, a famous architect, summarized Herohero in his IG post as such: โ€œThere are no likes, no main feed, no ads, and no view count. I am completely free to do whatever I want.โ€

And that is precisely the idea: To create a sandbox-like digital safe space, free from various toxic aspects of traditional social media.

Right now, we are now looking for a business development representative (BDR) to play a crucial role in expanding our community of creators in the USA. You will work on identifying and researching potential clients, and also developing and maintaining client relationships.

What will you do?
  • Research and contact new creators
  • Acquire new creators via phone, email, and social media
  • Negotiate contracts and conditions
  • Communicate with our creators on daily basis - youโ€™ll need to understand their wishes and concerns
  • Gather feedback on the product from creators and communicate it back to the Herohero team to provide optimal solutions
  • Work in Airtable or a similar CRM system
  • Roll-up sleeves and help also with other tasks and activities when needed - we are a startup and responsibilities are not strictly defined

What are we looking for?
  • Person based in New York, legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Great communication skills (both in writing and speaking) in English
  • High-energy, passion, and a positive attitude
  • Good sense of organization and attention to detail
  • A โ€œget it done nowโ€ attitude
  • Interest in the subscription-based economy and creative market, awareness of what's happening in the New York market
  • Experience in influencer marketing, podcasting, YouTube, etc. (ideally 2 years of experience)
  • At least a basic understanding of online products (ideally 2 years of experience)
  • Previous sales experience (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with online marketing (nice-to-have)
