As part of our global expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to generate demand from the East Coast USA market. We are searching for a candidate that understands the cultural & business environment in the USA and ideally will have moved from or spent an extended period of time in the region.

With our unique learning platform, we are redefining the way people and organisations learn and communicate. With a $20m funding round recently completed and with 120+ client organisations, including the likes of Spotify, Adidas, Vodafone & Ogilvy already onboard, we are creating a culture for more than 100 employees that is friendly, open, energetic and innovative.

As well as our successful commercial business, we are proud of our charity Fuse School which is transforming the secondary school education curriculum into high quality bitesize videos, free for all to access. Requirements

The role of a Business Development Representative presents an amazing opportunity to start a consultative sales career. Under the leadership of the Business Development Manager, you will be working collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to create and develop new prospects to meet our ambitious growth objectives.

Working in the London office and covering the East Coast USA geography, you will be required to fulfil many duties; profiling and researching, qualifying & networking with new prospects to understand their unique business challenges, managing inbound enquiries, attending networking events and conferences, and supporting the marketing team with events.

As part of a new and fast growing team within Fuse, full training & support will be given in the Learning & Development industry, our platform and technology, and how to be a superstar business developer. This new knowledge and experience will provide you with the skills and the opportunity to progress as a Senior Business Development Representative, to become a Sales Representative, Account Manager, or to pursue other roles within our fast-growing business.

The successful candidate may be required to work a USA aligned day from time to time. Additionally, there may be future opportunities to move to the USA and lead the local team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with prospects in order to achieve and exceed the sales quota of Qualified Sales Leads.
  • Generate high quality opportunities to meet your Revenue Target.
  • Generate opportunities from a list of target accounts within the region by calling direct on target accounts as well as responding to inbound leads.

Help to create and support the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns targeted at specific verticals.
