About the Team
Risk Management purpose is to Assist and support in achieving company objectives by implementing a comprehensive Operational Risk Management.

What you'll do

  • Together with the product/business team, conduct an assessment (self-assessment and NEPD) on new product and activity initiatives or product and activity development and/or collaboration with other parties to obtain approval from the regulator (if needed) and ensure that all documents have been approved and approved. signed by all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring requests for permits/approvals from regulators for new activities and products or activity and product development until their realization, periodically.
  • Provide added value to the Business/Functional by identifying new and developing risks and providing operational risk advice through the mechanism in the risk policy.
  • Conduct gap analysis and analyze the impact of related regulations on the Company's operations (Compliance Chart), if there are related and related regulations; including assessing and evaluating the effectiveness, adequacy, and conformity of the Company's processes, policies, provisions, systems, and procedures with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations, including the prevention of financial crimes.
  • Updating the database with applicable terms/regulations.
  • Establish, review, recommend and/or adjust the updating and improvement of the Company's policies and procedures in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations including for the prevention and investigation of financial crimes in order to manage the risk of financial crimes.
  • Act as a contact person for the Company's compliance issues for internal and external parties as well as monitor the follow-up and completion of the findings/results of the Internal Audit, External Audit and Regulatory Audit (BI or OJK) audit of the Company.
  • Manage and supervise the function of Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (APU and PPT), including transaction monitoring, reporting to regulators.
  • Review customer profiles, KYC documents, and customer statistical data for onboarding, periodic reviews, and review of trigger events prior to submission to businesses.
  • To support legal and litigation with law enforcement agencies in Indonesia including POLRI, INTRAC, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with the obligation to submit correct, accurate and timely reports to regulators to ensure the avoidance of sanctions/fines from regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with GRC Policies and procedures in risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control and monitoring. 
  • Ensure adequate traction and follow up on management actions to mitigate identified operational risk exposures including Audit and Assurance findings.
  • Maintain proper records of all activities related to KRI and Risk Register (RCSA).
  • Ensure Risk Incidents have proper root cause analysis and escalate significant Risk Incident issues according to applicable procedures.
  • Ensure that risk incidents are reported to ERM, and all relevant parties affected by the risk of such events within the specified time limit.
  • Lead and manage investigations/reviews of negative operational risk exposures (internal and external) as and when they arise.
  • Ensure that losses, risk events, policy deviations, KRIs and risk list exclusions are recorded, reviewed, and reported to ERM.

What we're looking for

  • Has a Bachelor Degree in these related fields: Informatics Systems, Industrial Engineering, or Law
  • Worked as a Compliance Officer or in Internal Control for at least 2 years, and candidate must be familiar with industry practices and professional standards
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
  • Good knowledge of technical tools such as financial, analytical, accounting, and statistical tools, and has knowledge of bank regulation and different categories of risk is essential The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while demonstrating exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Is able to demonstrate good decision making skills, and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Lastly, candidate must be fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
