Helix is empowering every person to discover insights into their DNA.  To do this, we're building a diverse ecosystem of high-quality content partners.  As part of the Business Operations team, you will be an integral part of the company's go-to-market team and help shape the launch strategy.  You will be responsible for making highly strategic decisions around Helix's commercial operations, and executing on those decisions to support a world-class launch in late 2016.

In Business Operations for Helix, you will:

  • Work closely with the company's leadership team to drive toward commercial launch
  • Be responsible for key parts of the go-to-market strategy
  • Implement scalable and efficient processes that can support millions of customers and dozens of partners
  • Tackle diverse and complex problems - anything from supply chain, international expansion, growth initiatives, and customer experience
  • Always be where the fire is hottest - jump in to help solve the most critical challenges 

Required background:

  • BA or BS degree; MBA optional
  • 4-6 years in an operational role, ideally with experience at a fast-growth company
  • Highly analytical and structured thinker, including excellent modeling skills in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results - gets things done
  • Experience building scalable systems
  • Comfortable creating high-profile presentations to drive strategic decisions by Helix's executive team
  • Excellent communication skills and incredible attention to detail
  • Strong desire for personal growth
  • Willing to contribute in a variety of ways, even if outside formal responsibilities
  • Comfortable working with executive team and stepping into a leadership role

An ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years in management consulting, investment banking, or similar role
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience launching a consumer product
  • Industry or academic background in life sciences or healthcare; engineering or other quantitative degree
  • Industry experience in business intelligence or similar function, where large datasets were crunched to inform marketing or pricing decisions
