Business Operations & Strategy Analyst

We are seeking an individual who can structure and analyze data to investigate hypotheses to guide revenue forecasting and analytics across our Sales and Marketing organizations. This individual will collaborate with the business on cross-functional projects and deep dive analyses on sales and other revenue-related analysis. Strong candidates will distill insights through cross-functional partnerships, primarily with the Sales and Marketing organizations.

About the job:

As a Business Operations and Strategy Analyst at Twilio, you will be responsible for many aspects of sales and marketing analysis and metrics tracking and will have significant impact on defining metrics and building dashboards that will serve as a source of truth for Sales and Marketing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and work closely with both Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver business insights
  • Define metrics, build dashboards to drive business decisions and monitor these metrics
  • Structure and analyze data to investigate hypotheses to guide sales forecasting
  • Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data
  • Financial analysis that will assist forecasting and planning.
  • Build dashboards and report metrics that will be reported to the executive and board level.
  • Assist as needed on ad hoc projects within business operations and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Economics, Math or Engineering undergrad majors preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a professional organization.  
  • Experience working in Sales Operations, Finance, or similar function.
  • Experience working in high-growth company or division, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Conversant to advanced in SQL, experience with Looker is a plus
  • Ability to operate as an analyst and to understand the sales organization within a SaaS company.
  • Track record of prioritizing and managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong Salesforce.com, Excel and Keynote skills.
