Business Technology Consultant

Ready to skip the corporate ladder and become a CTO in a couple years?

What You'll Actually Do

You'll work directly with law firm owners as their trusted technology advisor, designing and implementing AI-powered systems that transform how they operate. Within your first month, you'll be leading client meetings, building automation workflows, and deploying cutting-edge AI tools that most professionals won't touch for years. Every system you build directly impacts real families seeking justice while positioning you as an expert in the fastest-growing field in business.

Why This Changes Everything for You
If you're tired of corporate bureaucracy and slow career progression, this is where ambitious professionals unlock their potential. You'll bypass years of traditional advancement by advising C-level executives on million-dollar decisions while developing AI mastery and business acumen that creates exponential opportunities. While your peers do routine tasks, you'll build a network of successful entrepreneurs who become your future references, partners, or investors - all while working remotely from anywhere in Europe. You'll gain more experience in 18 months than most get in 10 years.

This is the accelerated path to becoming the kind of professional who commands premium compensation and never gets overlooked again.

Day in the Life
Junior Level: Build AI-powered client intake automations in Make, configure CRM pipelines in Clio and HubSpot, create document processing workflows, and shadow senior consultants on client calls to learn how to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.

Senior Level:
Lead client consultations with law firm owners presenting automation strategies, architect complex multi-platform integrations, delegate system configuration tasks to juniors, and mentor team members on advanced workflow optimization whilst executing sophisticated technical implementations.

Both levels: Hands-on system building daily, with juniors mastering fundamentals whilst learning client consultation, and seniors leading strategic discussions whilst executing high-level technical solutions.

What We Need
Non-Negotiables:
  • Client-ready communication skills - You'll present to law firm owners and senior executives from week one
  • Builder mentality - You genuinely enjoy the process of designing, testing, and perfecting systems
  • Proven AI proficiency - Submit examples of how you've used ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to solve real problems
  • 0-3 years professional experience in any technical, consulting, or business role
  • Native English fluency - you'll advise successful business owners from day one
  • Portfolio preferred - showcase projects that demonstrate your problem-solving approach

Ideal Background:
  • Experience with CRMs (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, Lawmatics, Clio)
  • Experience with automation tools (i.e. Zapier, Make)
  • Experience with project management platforms (i.e. Monday.com, Asana)
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders and managing client relationships
  • Technical consulting experience (Big 4, boutique firms, or freelance)
  • Track record of learning complex tools quickly and applying them to business problems

What Matters Most: We care about your ability to think systematically, learn rapidly, and connect technical solutions to business outcomes. If you instinctively consider technical solutions when approaching problems, we want to hear from you.

Our Mission
The legal industry is broken - outdated, overpriced, and structurally rigged against innovation and access. Today, 92% of low-income households can’t afford legal help, and meaningful reform is blocked by laws that prohibit non-lawyers from owning or operating law firms. This shuts out entrepreneurs and business leaders who drive real change. At the same time, firms are confined by state-level regulations that make it hard to scale across jurisdictions, limiting competition and protecting inefficiency. While other industries have embraced technology, law firms are still stuck in the past - reliant on paper, billable hours, and outdated systems.
Our mission is to change that. By equipping law firms with cutting-edge AI and world-class operations, we aim to push the industry 10 years forward - delivering faster, better, and more affordable legal services at scale.

To put things into perspective: Since there are only a few law firms that dominate each state, if we push just one major PI firm to dominate in each state, we can raise the bar of competition and brute force massive change and unlock a legal system that works for everyone, not just the wealthy.

Location:
Europe, Fully Remote (available US morning hours)

Junior Level: $26,100 - $48,540 / year
Senior Level: $62,460 - $90,360 / year

This role is for those who want to grow, learn and make an impact

Are We A Fit?
This role is for you if you are a builder, a problem-solver, and a lifelong learner. We are not just looking for a technician; we are looking for a future leader who is obsessed with delivering business value and wants to be on the front lines of technology and AI.

You will thrive here if you are intensely curious, learn exceptionally fast, and can iterate quickly based on feedback. You should be comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and eager to take ownership. While you love technology, you understand that it's a means to an end—the only thing that matters is the client's success.

Value alignment is non-negotiable. Because of the close collaboration with the founders and the direct impact on clients, it's essential that you genuinely connect with and embody our commitment to care. Our standards are high - historically, only 3% of candidates possess the rare combination of technical aptitude, business judgment, and cultural alignment we require.

Care for Ourselves

We push ourselves to grow every day. We take full responsibility for our lives and choices. That means taking care of our mental, physical, and emotional health so we can consistently show up at our best. If we’re not growing, we’re falling behind. Health armband - high priority

Care for Our Team

We work as one team. No internal competition, no egos. We help each other win and give honest feedback when something’s off. We check in, offer help before it’s asked for, and never let a teammate struggle alone. If one of us fails, we all do. If one of us wins, we all benefit. When someone needs something, do it better and faster than expected.

Care for Our Clients

We focus on real outcomes, not just fulfilling requests. Clients trust us to solve the right problems, not just follow instructions. That means delivering practical, effective solutions that actually move the needle. It also means managing relationships with clear communication and follow-through.

Care for Swans

Swans exists because a group of people believed in the vision and put skin in the game. For this to work long-term, we need to protect and grow the company. That means putting Swans first when it matters. When the company wins, we all win. That includes making sure our early backers see the return they deserve.

Care for Our World

Low-income households receive no or inadequate legal help for 92% of their civil legal problems. This gap leaves millions navigating critical issues like housing, healthcare, and family matters without the support they need. We are on a mission to create a more just and equitable society by making legal services accessible across all income levels.

We're hiring 5 future CTOs. Are you one of them?
