We have an exciting opportunity looking for a Buying Assistant on Own Brand Menswear. You’ll report directly into the Junior Buyer for the area, so lots of opportunity to further develop your skills.
Day to day you will understand the category critical path and supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library.
We’re looking for a Buying Assistant who already has experience at this level, having buying experience or transferable skills in a relevant profession and who can demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for buying.
The skills and behaviours imperative to being a successful buying assistant candidate here at The Very Group are; commercially aware, able to build relationships, strong communication skills, can demonstrate initiative, enjoys problem solving, interpreting data and excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience in Buying as a buying assistant or buyers admin assistant is beneficial but not essential:

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions. This can be held either in-person or remotely.
