YOUR ROLE

The Delivery Manager role would suit someone who has hands-on experience working in a marketing agency and directly with end clients. Working in relatively small units, the Delivery Manager will be an integral part of the team. There may be situations where the focus on delivery overrides strict adherence to existing processes and we need someone who can rise to the challenge of delivering excellent quality, within deadlines which can be tight.

We see this as an opportunity to “rapid prototype” process improvements, flexing the way we work in real-time, and learning from the outcomes, rather than an opportunity to abandon the process! As a continuing objective, we need someone who processes and is efficiency-focused and who can keep the team true to continuous improvement, both in how we produce output and the quality of the work we deliver.

We currently work within a framework inspired by, but not in strict adherence to Agile, to ensure we maintain the cadence of planning and reviews and the efficient use of the resource.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

(But are not limited to)

  • Create and maintain project schedules, resource plans, risk plans, communication plans, etc. that accurately reflect the scope of work but also consider client expectations and business objectives.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects for different clients within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Facilitate internal and client meetings and follow-up actions as required.
  • Aligns the project team to the work to ensure resources are available and present at appropriate times throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for maintaining the required level of quality through every step of the delivery process.
  • Conduct evaluations including lessons learned and preparation of any follow-on action recommendations as required.
  • Deliver projects within scope and budget whilst ensuring the work is of the highest quality.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external partners as required to supplement internal skills or resource gaps.
  • Able to work effectively and manage multi-disciplined teams across different locations and time zones.
  • Builds respectful, strong working relationships with internal teams, partners/vendors and clients
  • Own the delivery process from beginning to end with an eye toward iterating improvements and delivery quality.
  • In case of ad-hoc issues be able to change and manage the development team’s priorities to ensure that the issue is fixed within a defined timeframe.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3-4 years of project management experience in an agency or marketing environment, working on digital products with a foundational understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
  • Experience managing complex deliveries/rollouts across multiple platform tenants.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Detail Oriented: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or potential issues early in the development process.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and Efficient Communicator: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards and processes. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on quality assurance activities.
  • Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Business and System Analysis skills.
