Campus Launch Paid Fellowship

The Context:

In 2022, Arizona will be a premier battleground state with highly competitive races to elect Democrats at every level of the ticket. Mission for Arizona, the Arizona Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign, is launching early because the work to re-elect Senator Mark Kelly and win up and down the ballot in 2022 starts now. By starting early, we have an unprecedented opportunity to engage a diverse coalition of college students across Arizona who will play a decisive role in the 2022 election. The Campus Launch Fellows will play a key role in bringing Mission for Arizona back to statewide campuses in August 2021. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce Mission for Arizona to your college campus through in-person and digital tactics.
  • Table on campus during Welcome Week to register student voters and recruit fellow Democrats to join our campus organizing program.
  • Build student social media engagement across social channels.
  • Reach out to existing campus networks to introduce the campaign and explore potential partnerships.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • This program is starting with students at Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, or the University of Arizona. 
  • Ability to greet students on campus during Welcome Week events.
  • Passionate about the Democratic platform and excited to launch the campaign on campus and build a broad, diverse community of young Democrats.

Logistics: 

  • Fellowship Dates: August 8th-August 28th. All fellows will be required to participate in a virtual training August 8th.
  • Time Commitment: 30 hours over the course of the fellowship (August 8 - August 28). 
  • Pay: $450.
  • Location: This is an in-person role on your current college campus.
