Catalog Manager

The Job

The Catalog Management (CM) team is considered the “central resource of rewards” for internal teams and external clients at Tango Card. They help develop and manage our Rewards Catalog, which is a product used by millions of people and computer programs a year! This team ensures that reward content is onboarded effectively and is maintained and updated on a regular basis.

Our ideal CM Specialist is self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented in their day-to-day operations. They will work closely with their team and the Catalog Manager to ensure our catalog is accurate and working well for all users – including customers, recipients, and internal Tango Card employees. This role requires high levels of communication across Tango Card team members, merchants, and supply partners - so we are searching for professional, proactive, and effective communicators.

Reports To: Manager, Category Management

As Catalog Management Specialist at Tango Card, you will:

  • Onboard new brands across multiple markets and suppliers, which includes ensuring setup is done accurately and within SLAs.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date repository of information for all rewards within the Tango Card catalog to be used by both internal teams and clients.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for catalog updates and enhancements.
  • Support Business Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams with customer issues, questions, and representation.
  • Coordinate on a recurring basis with Partnerships, Supply Chain, and Development teams on roadblocks, projects, and improvements.
  • Identify and provide feedback on areas of team improvement. Especially in terms of resources, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide top-tier support to internal teams, key customers, and partners with individual/unique brand requests. Eventually this human should feel comfortable navigating these requests with little to no supervision.

To be effective in our Catalog Management Specialist role, you must have:

  • Experience in a dynamic (bonus if remote) work environment, involving changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofing skills.
  • An efficient and organized approach at work, allowing you to handle multiple projects/deadlines at one time.
  • The ability to spot and make decisions that benefit Tango Card, our customers, and our partners.
  • The ability to build relationships (internally and externally) and to work collaboratively with others. This includes strong verbal and written communication.
  • 2+ years of technology industry experience, with an operational focus.
  • Skilled in computer applications and tools, including Microsoft Office applications.

Our ideal Catalog Management Specialist at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience in Restful APIs, NetSuite, and Project Management software a plus.
  • Experience publishing, blogging, or other content authoring for an external audience.

Salary: The targeted pay range for this position is between $60,000 to $65,000 Please note that the actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.  Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonus.
